Gorge on some of the most delicious Maharashtrian food prepared by the villagers indigenous to the mountain. Pitch tents & snuggle into a sleeping bag under a magical carpet of dimly lit stars. The day begins with an energetic and adventurous group of mountain lovers set to conquer the Kalavantin Pinnacle. Witness all this with the chirpiest bunch of mountain loving people. About the location: There isn’t much known about Kalavantin but it is said to have been built around 1458 A.D by the Bahmani Sultanate - the first independent Muslim kingdom in South India, until it was taken over and renamed by the Maratha forces under the king of king’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's rule. The trek to Kalavantin pinnacle is often referred to as the “Climb to Heaven’’ because of the hand-carved bastion rock cut steps that add adrenaline to this exhilarating experience. Trip Itinerary: Day 1, 7 July - Meet at CST Ticket Counter at 1.15 pm on the 7 July - Reach base village Thakurwadi - Begin trek to Prabalmachi plateau, Hi -Tea, relax, breathe in the landscape - How to Pitch Your Tent session (depends on weather) - Dinner served by the local villagers ( Veg & Non-veg Thali) - Ice breakers Day 2, 8 July - Wake up at 6 am for sunrise - Begin our trek to the summit of Kalavantin - Reach the summit by 7.30 am - Trek downward to base village at 8 am - Indulge in scrumptious breakfast - Trek downwards - Return to Mumbai by 2 pm Cost: Rs 1999/- To Maintain A High Quality Experience Keeping in Mind Safety, This Trek is Has A Limited Group Size.
