23rd NATIONAL VETERANS TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2015 CHANDIGARH TOURNAMENT DATES: February 27, 2016, to March 2, 2016 LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES: 10TH FEBRUARY, 2016 For Karnataka participants: Attention to players participating in the 23rd National Veterans Table Tennis Championships 2015 at Chandigarh from February 27, 2016, to March 2, 2016. 1. Karnataka players traveling by train on February 24, 2016, have to pay Rs. 1,000/- by this Saturday December 19, 2015, to either Mr. S.K. Balakrishnan (9880167638), Mr. D.P. Gopinath (9844033300), Mr. H.E. Harsha (9845445612) or Mr. Mahesh Nayak (9844021156). Second class III tier sleeper. Otherwise, they will have to make their own travel arrangements. 2. The entry fee for players not availing boarding and lodging for the Nationals is Rs. 1,200 / per head. Players interested in boarding and lodging from the organizers will have to pay Rs. 7,200 /- (Rs. 6,000 /- + Rs. 1,200/-) plus Rs. 6,000/- for the accompanying person/spouse. This amount has to be paid on January 17, 2016, at Malleswaram Association. Check in February 26, 2016, 12:00 noon, and check out is March 3, 2016, 12:00 noon. 3. Please give your T-shirt and track suit sizes to me (S, M, L, XL, XXL). I will be collating them before the final order is placed. Colors will be distributed on February 14, 2016. Team championships for Men and Women will be held separately in all age groups provided there are a minimum number of Six Teams in each category. For every ten players , one team will be allowed in each category. Any event less than eight entries will not be conducted. 2. Team Championships will be played on League cum Knock out basis depending on the number of entries, the playing system may be altered by the committee in the manager's meeting. Team Events: All Team events upto 69 years will be played in the New swaythling Cup System with minimum 3 players and Maximum of 5 players per team. The 70 ? 74 yrs and above 75 years team events will be played in the Corbillon Cup with minimum two players and maximum 4 players per team 2. Individual Events will be played on knock out basis. 3. Participants who require boarding and lodging should sent their entries on or before 25.01.2016, along with Demand draft for Rs.7000 ( Boarding and Lodging Rs. 6000/- and Entry fee of Rs.1000/-) in favour of Organising committee, Veterans National Table Tennis Championships payable at Chandigarh 4. Sharing Hotel accommodation will be provided to the players. The check in will be on 26.02.2016 after 12 Noon and check-out will be on 03-03-2016 before 12 Noon. 5. Board and Lodging charges for accompanying persons will be Rs. 6,000/- per person. 6. Players who do not wish to avail the lodging and boarding facility is required to pay an entry free of Rs. 1000/- for singles and Doubles 7. All entries should be sent through the concerned State Veteran's Committee duly authorized by their respective State Table Tennis association mentioning the date of birth, address and age group. An entry fee of Rs. 500/- per team is to be paid along with name of players. 8. All State Veterans Committee should contribute Rs. 1000/- per State along with Rs. 200/- per player as registration fee to the IVTTC at the venue 9. All players must produce valid age certificate, whenever asked for. 10. Every entered player is allowed to participate in one singles , one doubles and mixed Doubles event. A player must participate in her/his own age category in Team, singles and doubles events. 11. A doubles pair shall not be altered if both players are present and fit to play. However, injury, illness or the absence of one player may be accepted as justification for an alteration to take place, but only before the First Draws. 12. In the event of less than Eight players entering any one event, the IVTT Committee has the right to either cancel the said event, or introduce a reasonable alternative for all concerned 13. The Players of a team taking part in a team match and the players forming a Doubles Pair shall be dressed uniformly. 14. Players may use only approved and authorised equipment according to the valid list provided on the ITTF website. 15. Each player is obliged to compete at the table and time set by the "Competition Schedule". 16. The player is responsible for keeping her/himself informed when and where to play. Any player who fails to appear at the scheduled time will automatically lose the match, after a 5 minute waiting period. 17. The organisers accept that no restrictions should be made with regard to "drinking water" in the duration of a match. However, drinking water will only be specifically allowed at the same time as the "towelling down regulation". 18. Only the members of the respective Team/individual match played at that table and one coach per player/pair are allowed to enter the playing area. All other players not playing in the respective /individual match have to be outside of the playing area (stands/spectators area). 19. No entry will be accepted without the prescribed entry fee, to be paid before the due date. 20. Railway concession forms will be sent to the State Associations / State Veterans Committee as the case may be. Players are requested to contact the concerned State TTAssociation Secretary or the State Veterans Committee to avail the above facilities. 21. The Manager's Meeting will be held on 26th February at 1800 Hrs at the venue. 22. The performance of the players in this Nationals will be considered for selection of Indian Team for participating in any International Event during the year 2016.
