Vrukshathon 2019 is a Half Marathon organized by FITNESS FIRST. Vrukshathon Half Marathon is a flagship event conceptualized & organized by Fitness First to spread environmental awareness and promote the spirit of health & fitness. In the inaugural year – 10th June 2018, we distributed a tree sapling to all 2000 participants who successfully completed the run. We also Pledged that all participants who preserve the tree sapling and show documented growth of the tree as proof, will be offered free registrations for the upcoming year – 2019; and the response we are getting for this initiative is tremendous. We also aim at preparing athletes for various national & international events by providing training through Fitness First, giving them relevant exposure. The Vision and Mission of Vrukshathon is to spread the message that it is impossible for humans to survive and be fit without trees and a healthy environment; hence we need to learn to co-exist with nature. All Participants will get: • Dry-Fit T-Shirt • Finisher Medal • Tasty Breakfast • BIB with Timing Chip (for competitive categories 10 kms & 21 kms) • Goodie Bag • Tree Sapling • Free Photos DATE and VENUE The event will be held on 9th June 2019.
