Event Description

First Monsoon Marathon: Starting point is about 30 minutes from Navi Mumbai and 45 minutes from Lonavala. You will run alongside the green mountains and fluorescent rice fields. Race in Under the aegis of Raigad District Athletic Association All finishers will get Finishers Medal and snacks at the finish. (Timing chip not required for finisher medal) Starting point is 6 Kilometers from the Mohape Railway Station, 10 Kilometers from Panvel Station. Flag off time: 21K: 6:30 AM -- Sunrise is at 6:04 AM 15K: 6:45 AM 10K: 7:00 AM 5K: 7:30 AM (non-competitive category) Registration Charges (including convenience fee) 21K: 1105 = 1050 + 55 15K: 998 = 950 + 48 10K: 998 = 950 + 48 5K: 788 = 750 + 38 Timing chip is required if you want timing certificate. Winners determined by timing chip only. Timing chip is additional Rs.300. T-shirt is additional Rs.500. RULES Runners that are winners, runners-up and third place finishers in Half Marathon, 15 Kilometers or 10 Kilometers will get the top honours in their respective categories. 5K is non-competitive and has no prize. First Monsoon Marathon trophies are awarded to the winners in the following categories: 10 Km Open Boys/Girls 10 Km Senior Boys/Girls (40+) 15 Km Open Boys/Girls 15 Km Senior Boys/Girls (40+) Half Marathon Open Boys/Girls Half Marathon Open Boys/Girls Senior (40+) Senior is born on or before 26 June 1976 5K run is non-competitive, mainly to encourage participation from non-runners. Timing chip determines the winners. No timing chip -- No winner, even if you reach first. FAQ Q. What is the last date for registrations? Registrations for all categories will close on 12th June 2016 OR once all the slots have been filled, whichever is first. Q. Will I be able to get a refund once my application has been accepted? You will get a refund after deduction of Rs.250 by 12th June 2016. Q. Will I be permitted to transfer my registration to a friend? We are sorry to say that no transfers will be permitted. Q. Will I be able to register on the day of the event? No registrations will be permitted on the day of the race.
